Hillary Calls the Kettle "Black"

Here's what Hillary Clinton says about the Bush Administration. Turning back clocks, illegalizing abortion, stopping labor from organizing, encouraging destruction of the environment, rounding up cute animals and murdering them by the millions, it's all taking place! But Bush, Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, Don Rumsfeld, Alberto Gonzales, that turncoat Condi Rice, Tom DeLay, Bill Frist, and a whole cabal of original vast right-wing conspiracy members are hiding it.

All funnies aside though, Hillary's specific accusations are that he is consolidating and abusing power to further his own agenda. Kind of like the Emperor in Episode III. It's the very thing we'd expect, especially given the fact that Hillary was trying to raise money for the Senate re-election that her presidential aspirations require her to win.

But I hope you don't miss this book. I don't pick up every political book that hits the shelves, as I don't have the time or the cash to do it, but I'm not missing this one. The thesis is that Hillary will do, say, and be anything she has to in order to gain power for herself. She is power-hungry and believes that any obstacle, including those created by law, are merely things to elude or ignore if possible. Power, and lots of it, is the goal. The means justify the ends.

This person involved herself in the collapse of a savings and loan and a fraudulent land deal, traded cattle futures as an amateur and made a suspicious profit that stands as an unrivaled record for even professional speculators, tried to grab the nation's health care system under her control, fired the decades-long employees from the White House travel office to install her own cronies, was pictured next to the president in federal offices across the nation when usually only the vice president has that honor, indicating her real position within the Clinton White House, has her Senate campaign currently under investigation for underreporting in-kind contributions which saved the campaign hundreds of thousands of dollars and perhaps the money to beat Rick Lazio, just to name a few ethical and legal shortcomings to bring power and fortune to herself.

So when Hillary talks about the consolidation and abuse of power to further one's own agenda, it would be wise to sit up and take note. Because her history indicates that she's an expert at it and knows of what she speaks.
